World Mental Health Day | Red House Academy

Today, we recognise World Mental Health Day and the importance of looking after our mental health and wellbeing.

At Red House Academy, we know that every child matters, every voice deserves to be heard, and everyone deserves to feel ...safe, valued and supported.

Today is a reminder that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a big difference. A smile, a friendly conversation, asking someone if they are okay, or taking the time to listen can help someone feel less alone.

Let's remember to:
✨ Be kind to ourselves and others.
✨ Check in with friends, classmates and colleagues.
✨ Talk about our feelings and ask for help when we need it.
✨ Listen without judgement.
✨ Remember that it's okay not to be okay.

Mental health matters every single day, not just today. Together, we can continue to create a school community where everyone feels able to speak up, reach out and access the support they need.
