Please take particular note of our updated uniform guidance, including:
🔹 Girls' skirts should be on the knee in length.
🔹 Guidance on the appropriate style of school trousers, ensuring they are suitable for the academy.
Taking a few minutes to check these expectations now will help ensure every student starts the year confident, prepared and ready to learn from day one.

Northern Powergrid and Solutions for the Planet are looking for young people to join the 'Focus for Future' Youth Insights Panel (2026–2027)!
This is a fantastic opportunity for young people ...to influence real business decisions, build their resumes, and shape the future of energy across the North East, Yorkshire, and northern Lincolnshire.
Why Join?
👥 Network & Influence: Work directly with business leaders and have a say in Northern Powergrid’s strategies.
🛠️ Build Vital Skills: Boost confidence, teamwork, and negotiation skills.
📜 Get Recognized: Earn certificates and official references for future university or job applications.
Key Details
🗓️ When: 5 online sessions (via Zoom) from October 2026 to May 2027. First session: Thursday, October 22nd.
⏰ Time Commitment: ~1.5 hours per session (after school/college), plus brief prep work and feedback.
⏳ Application Deadline: Tuesday, October 6th, 2026 (Interviews start October 8th).
